Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of backend services using Python, FastAPI, and Celery, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and efficient.
- Architect and implement data storage solutions using MongoDB, Redis, and Elasticsearch, tailored to handle large-scale, big data challenges.
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate predictive models into backend systems, enabling real-time anomaly detection and cybersecurity threat mitigation.
- Develop and maintain robust APIs, microservices, and backend components that support the frontend and various third-party integrations.
- Utilize Kubernetes and Docker for containerization and orchestration of services, ensuring high availability and scalability in a distributed environment.
- Contribute to the technical direction of the backend team, mentoring junior engineers, and leading code reviews.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in backend development, AI integration, and cybersecurity best practices, applying them to ongoing projects.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer, with a strong focus on Python and related technologies.
- Expertise in FastAPI, Celery, and experience working with databases such as MongoDB, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
- Solid experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
- Proven experience in developing and deploying large-scale, high-performance backend systems.
- Previous experience in a cybersecurity-focused role or industry is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and experience integrating predictive models into backend systems is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on scalability, security, and performance optimization.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, remote team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a startup environment, particularly within the cybersecurity sector.
- Knowledge of large-scale, real-time data processing systems and familiarity with cybersecurity tools and methodologies.
- Background in AI/ML, especially in developing and deploying models for cybersecurity applications.
